“This sexy neo-noir thriller is the first feature film directed by the Wachowski sisters (who went on to make The Matrix.) It’s also one of the first genre films with major lesbian content that isn’t about coming out, angst over identity, and that doesn’t end in tragedy. It also is notable for having Susie Bright (lesbian writer and sex educator) choreograph the sex scenes (and getting her San Francisco dykes friends hired as extras.)
Bound is very entertaining but a real thriller with some serious violence so best to watch it with the lights on and with friends online!”
