QTRL Fest – Celebrating the Queer and Trans Research Lab’s First Year!
Join the Bonham Centre in celebrating the accomplishments of the Queer and Trans Research Lab in our inaugural year as a research community. Come spend the day or drop in for games, film screenings, lab member spotlights, entertainment and much more!
Date: May 25th 2022, 10am-5pm EDT
Location: We’ll be hosting the event all day at the Paul Cadario Conference Centre at Croft Chapter House, located in University College at 15 King’s College Road.
Lunch will be held outdoors. We will be following UofT’s COVID-19 policies.
This means that masks will be required indoors if physical distancing cannot be maintained. Details including exceptions can be found on the Joint Provostial and Human Resources Guideline on Face Masks page.
ASL interpretation will be available.

1:00 – 2:00: Faculty Fellow Chat with Dr. Jordache Ellapen and Dr. Andrea Allen
2:00 – 3:00: Film Screening: Black Gay Life in Toronto by Community Leader-in-Residence Abdi Osman
3:00 – 3:30: Break
3:30 – 4:00: QTRL Research Assistant Reflections
4:00 – 5:00: Closing Remarks & Entertainment
