The Bonham Centre’s Artist-in-Residence, Teiya Kasahara 笠原貞野, is releasing a new film: The Butterfly Project: The Ballad of Cho-Cho San. In celebration of the film and the Canadian Opera Company’s 2022 planned production of Madama Butterfly, a symposium titled “Grappling with Madama Butterfly Today: Representation, Reclamation, Re-imagination” is being held on February 11th and 12th.
