Traces: Queer Toronto During the Pandemic

When

02/05/2025
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Come join some of our Queer COVID Toronto research team for the launch of Traces: Queer Toronto During the Pandemic. Through Traces, we reflect on the struggles, fears, hopes, and desires of Toronto’s 2SLGBTQIA+ communities during the COVID-19 lockdowns near the five-year anniversary of the beginning of this ongoing pandemic. Join us at Glad Day Bookshop on Friday, May 2nd, from 6 to 8pm to celebrate the launch of our audiovisual virtual map. With a DJ, refreshments, and good company, we will reflect on and grieve what this time has meant for our communities.

We are committed to ensuring that our event is accessible. We highly encourage masking at this event and will provide masks at the door. Glad Day’s ventilation system brings outdoor air inside and does not recycle air. Glad Day is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and accessible washrooms. Please get in touch with us at queer.covid.to@gmail.com with any questions about access.
