On Possible Futures
ON POSSIBLE FUTURES is a free event taking place in honour of the anniversary of the first Pride Week in Canada in 1973. It will occur across two panels. The first will focus on Queer BIPOC Digital Activism and will feature Syrus Marcus Ware, Armando Perla, Adrienne Gaither, and Thiané Diop, and will be moderated by Nicole Ivy. The second will discusses Queer BIPOC Mutual Aid Initiatives and Digital Sanctuaries for Manifesting and will feature Julian Santa Putricia, Christopher Udemezue, Christine Tran, Yves B. Golden, with special guests soon to be announced, and will be moderated by Dulcina Abreu.This event is a co-production between Museum Professionals of Colour, Dulcina Abreu, and the International Coalition of Museum Professionals & Communities with support from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information and Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, and the Maryland Institute College of Arts.
