Sex Salon Speaker Series Call For Organizing Committee 2021-22
DEADLINE: August 12, 2021
The Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto invites you to participate in the Sex Salon! The Sex Salon Series, housed at the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto, seeks members for its 2021 – 2022 Organizing Committee! The Sex Salon is a space to exchange ideas, make art and community, and create dialogue around queerness, queer theory, LGTQI+ organizing, and the development and advancement of critical sexuality studies. The Sex Salon is a monthly event series hosting monthly events between September 2021 to May 2022.
Upper-year Undergraduate, Graduate, and Faculty from any University of Toronto department are welcome to apply. We are seeking participation from a diverse and broad range of disciplines, training, and departments. In particular, we also seek individuals who have experience in managing social media accounts, and with experience in creating digital media.
The Organizing Committee will receive participant applications and help curate the monthly Sex Salon events for 2021/2022. Members will attend a planning session in early September and participate in the monthly Sex Salon to ensure success and community continuity. Committee members are also encouraged to consider chairing one of the Sex Salon events.
