Sexual Diversity Studies Program Assistant (Job ID: 202392)
The Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies is looking for a student to assist with the daily workings of the Centre and the Sexual Diversity Studies program. This position will take place in-person, though some remote/out of office tasks may also be required. Duties may include: event promotion and coordination; program publicity; social media and website maintenance; preparation of the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies newsletter; and general assistance with program activities. Applicants must be mature, responsible, organized and capable of maintaining confidentiality. Intermediate computer skills including internet research, email, Word and Excel required. Applicants should be comfortable with materials and discussion relating to sexuality and gender identity. The successful candidate will need to have access to a computer, cell phone, and access to the internet. Technical assistance, should it be required, will be provided by the SDS administrative staff. This position pays $18.00/hour.
Sexual Representation Collection Archives Assistant (Job ID: 202391) 
The Archival Assistant will work with the Archives Director of the Sexual Representations Collection (SRC) to process collections to archival standards, reformat finding aids, digitize collections, catalog books, and develop protocols for online access. This position is well-suited for a student interested in sexuality, gender, race, history, library, archives, museum studies, or some combination thereof. The selected student will demonstrate the ability to work independently and should have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working with sexually explicit materials. The successful candidate will need to have access to a computer, cell phone, and access to the internet. This position pays $18.00/hour.

If you are applying for a sessional lecturer or writing instructor position, please indicate which courses you are interested in being notified about on your application form. A valid email address is required. Applications and CVs submitted via e-mail are preferred.

Hiring decisions for autumnal sessional lecturer positions are expected to be made in June, for spring in October, and for summer in March. However, some decisions may be made earlier or later than these time frames, depending on the circumstances.  Unexpected vacancies may arise at any time.
