The panel will explore queer identity expression, community building, and sense of belonging among Black LGBTQI folks in Toronto from the perspectives of community organizers, artists, and scholars. Their respective contributions to this panel will create a dialogue between scholarly research, art, and community organizing to shed light on the lived experiences of Black queer people in Toronto.
