Event Description:
A spatial and curatorial history of New York City’s prolific Variety Theater from 1836 to 2005, compiled through firsthand accounts from artists, filmmakers, critics, poets, and patrons, moving from the space as a nickelodeon house, a porn theater and site for gay cruising, and an off-Broadway venue.
Location Details:
The location of this event is room UC240 located at University College (15 King’s College Circle). The closest entrance is on the left side of Hart House Circle if you are walking north from King’s College circle. We will have volunteers at the main staircase on the first floor.
