Queer and Trans Research Lab (QTRL) Research Assistantships
This program provides research assistantships to undergraduate students enrolled in SDS. The RAships are designed to provide training to our students in research methods and practices, social justice collaborations, and community outreach initiatives. RAs are active members of the Queer and Trans Research Lab and participate in a variety of events, such as presentations, workshops, panels, and QTRL planning meetings. RAs are assigned to faculty and community members of the QTRL cohort to help with their projects and gain new research and experience-based skills of their own. Each RA will receive a stipend for their work. The call for applications goes out in February, and successful applicants will be notified shortly thereafter. The assistantships take place from September-April.
