Activities

Each year, the Bonham Centre organizes a wide range of activities aimed at students in SDS programs and courses.  These include academic conferences, talks by visiting researchers, public events focused on controversial issues, and social events.

The Sexual Diversity Studies Student Union also serves as a vehicle for student initiatives, whether it is organizing public conferences, sponsoring career-focussed events, supporting the Hard Wire: The Undergraduate Journal of Sexual Diversity Studies, or creating spaces for students to meet one another.

The Centre also encourages undergraduate students to engage in direct research through independent study or through detailed exploration of a single topic in courses.  It also organizes an annual colloquium in which senior undergraduates and collaborate graduate program students share their research.
