Students

SDS students – graduate and undergraduate – are at the core of the Bonham Centre’s educational mission.  They come from all over Canada and countries from every major region of the world.  Through our own offerings and those by the many departments, centres, and faculties associated with us, students have an unmatched richness of curricular options and sexuality-related research materials.

Our undergraduate student body is over 200, making us one of the largest interdisciplinary programs on sexual diversity in the world.  Our collaborative specialization regularly attracts over 30 graduate students, who are able to take advantage of one of the few interdisciplinary graduate options in this field.

Students at all levels have access to a rich array of co-curricular activities, some organized by the SDS Student Union, by graduate students, by the Centre itself, and by other academic units in cooperation with SDS.  Students also have the opportunity to apply for a variety of scholarships and awards.
