 n Project)\nA resource for service providers to help them assist Queer Ind
 igenous community members who have survived violence.\n\nVenue: 720 Spadin

  event will be hosted by Alec Butler and Reilly Jones (bios below).\n\nAle
 c Butler (He/Him\, They/Them) is a Two-Spirit\, Non-binary activist and aw
 ard winning playwright\, author and filmmaker. Author of the queer novella
  Rough Paradise which was recently published in Europe\, the plays Black F
 riday? (Nominated for the Governor General’s Award)\, Medusa Rising\, Cr
 adle Pin and Shakedown and director of the films Misadventures of Pussy Bo
 y\, Trans Cabaret\, Audrey’s Beard and My Friend Brindley. Butler is als
 o a scholar in Indigenous Studies\, their research focuses on Two-Spirit Q
 ueer Indigenous Literatures.\nAlec is of Indigenous (Mi’kmaq) and settle
 r (French/Irish) descent originally from Unama’ki (Cape Breton Island\, 
 Nova Scotia).\n\nReilly Jones (She/Her) is a white settler. She is the co-
 coordinator of the External Education team at the University of Toronto Se
 xual Education Centre\, and a graduate student in public health. Her profe
 ssional background is in the sexual and reproductive rights of people livi
 ng with HIV\, refugee immigration law\, epidemiology\, and sexual health e
 ducation. She also enjoys cooking\, playing soccer\, and scheduling hersel
 f so tightly that she has to run between appointments.\n\nThere will be sn
